Our Level Wound Copper Coils for Heat Exchangers (LWC) consist of copper tubes with a minimum copper content of 99.9%, adhering to IS-191 standards. These tubes are available in Forged, Hot Rolled, Extruded, and Cold-worked finishes, offering versatility in dimensions and specifications. Level Wound Copper Coils for Heat Exchangers (LWC) – Uncoiling Direction:

When ordering these coils for the creation of new articles, it is essential to specify the direction of uncoiling, which can be:

a) Clockwise (standard): In a horizontal position, the tube ending in the inner layer of the coil is at the bottom. b) Anti-clockwise (optional): In a horizontal position, the tube ending in the inner layer of the coil is at the top.

Temper: O60 or O50

Packaging: For unit weights of 100kgs or more, each coil is individually packed on a reel, with 6-7 coils per pallet. Choose the suitable uncoiling direction and temper for your specific requirements.

Packaging for Level Wound Copper Tube and Coils:

Level wound coils are presented on disposable cardboard or fiber core returnable reels, or they can be bulk-packed without reels, according to the customer’s preference.

The packaging process involves stacking coils on a wooden pallet and securely wrapping them in stretch wrap. Various types of outer packaging are available, including:

  1. Coils stacked on a wooden pallet and enclosed in stretch wrap.
  2. The stack of coils is stretch-wrapped (reel or bulk), with a spacer pallet inserted between the fourth and third coils to facilitate the safe removal of the top coils.

Level wound coils typically have a 24″ inner diameter, and the maximum outer diameter is around 41″ for coils on reels and 42″ for bulk-packed coils. The standard coil height is 10″ when the reel is packaged, while the height may vary for bulk packaging based on the size and weight of the coil.
